In the 70s, the famous caves in the area of Matala on Crete became a favorite place for hippies from all over the world. Times changed, flower children are now in the past, but the mood for music and entertainment continues to exist.

The unique summer Matala Beach Festival by the sea invites his friends of all ages from 17 to 19 June 2016 to enjoy a three-day program with live concerts by well-known Greek and foreign artists, yoga, zumba, games as well as theater shows for the little ones visitors and much more.

As for the music program, the participants are Filippos Pliatsikas, Koza Mostra, Billi Merziotis & After Hours, Soul Fair, Alone Together, Tonis Sfinos, Onirama, Sgt. Pepper’sBeatles, Kulamacus The Band, Crossroads the band.

Matala is located 71 km south of Heraklion in the picturesque bay of Messara. Entry free.
