  2. Registration of the company in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Greece. The following requirements must be fulfilled:
    • a unique name for the firm was chosen;
    • an account is opened with a Greek bank for which the minimum amount of the authorized capital is paid;
    • the constituent documents certified by a notary are prepared;
    • a certified seal has been created;
    • registration of a legal address;
    • information about the owners;
    • information about the direction of the company’s activities.

The whole procedure takes up to 10 days. Also, the above mentioned documentation is sent to the local court, which assigns the registration number, and to the national printing house, to publish information about the new company in a local newspaper.

Business entities in Greece

Public limited company (AE)
